Are you a good influence on yourself?

If you’re anything like me ,

You always want to give advice to the people you love.

Not selfish advice, but something that will truly help them!

And nothing beats the feeling when they listen

…and it works.

But if I ask you the questions:

Do you listen to your own advice?

Are you a good influence on yourself ?

If you’re reading this, I know that you are someone who wants to improve themselves!

Someone who takes action!

But you might also be someone who’s scared of things going wrong.

And when they do inevitably go wrong,

You start doubting yourself…

Start looking for shortcuts.

And that’s when the “quick wins” start looking good…

When someone with a rented Lamborghini and a ring light starts sounding legit.

You know who I’m talking about, the “online coaches” selling $997 shortcuts to nowhere.

There are a few good ones, very good ones even.

But most are just dishonest…

I never bought any courses, nor do I recommend that.

My progress would have been faster, probably.

But then I wouldn’t have learnt the things I know,

Understood the value of myself like I do now.

And most important to me, there would have been a voice in my head repeating to me:

“You didn’t achieve it yourself, you just paid your way to success.”

As someone who wants to achieve everything, this wouldn’t be okay with me…

Getting help is okay (needed even),

But guidance is a gift. The work is still yours.

All I want to say is you need to start listening to yourself.

Trust your own advice, like others do!

And when things go wrong (because they will)...

Don’t take a shortcut.

It’s like Alex Hormozi says:

You either earn or you learn.

And both are worth it.

See you in the next one,

Aryan.
